The Prince Edward Tigers registered a 38-31 win over St John’s College Rams this afternoon in Harare to extend their ongoing unbeaten run to six in six.
Playing with 14 men due to a yellow card, the Rams took a heavy beating from the Tigers which saw them move from trailing 7-5 in the game’s opening moments to trailing 33-12 at the break. The huge deficit did not put the St John’s College boys down as they went on to enjoy a superb second half.
St John’s posted 19 points versus Prince Edward’s 5 points. However it was a classic case of a little too late at the Tigers held on to a win that allows them to continue pursuing their unbeaten season run.
