Tanaka Chidhobha of Prince Edward School is this week’s Absolute Athlete of the Week. Chidhobha was outstanding during the Hammer & Tongues Invitational at St George’s College this past weekend.
The left winger’s pace on the ball and fancy footwork troubled opposition defenders all weekend. As such it wasn’t a surprise to hear the crowds chanting his number in the cup final. A spectacular goal struck from around 25 yards out by Chidhobha gave his team the edge they needed to write-off St Ignatius after the half-time interval in the final.
Chidhobha is definitely one talent to look out for in the next few years. Won’t be much of a surprise to see the Prince Edward winger turning out for the Warriors soon.
