Christian Brothers College’s Second Team Cricket beat the Midlands Christian College First Team by 27 runs in 26 overs on Saturday (19 September 2015).
“Overall it was a good day for our team,” said CBC Captain Jacques Duplessis. “I believe we performed well and showed heart on the field. We made good progress learning from some negatives which we then turned into positives. I would like to commend the whole team on their catching game, which stood out, as well as their determination.”
Meanwhile CBC U16Bs lost to MCC’s U16As by 22 runs.
“Although we lost the match we felt encouraged since we were a B side playing an A team,” said Captain Mondli Malaba. “With a little bit of polishing, I know we can get a better result next time.”
